Forest Therapy Walk
“The forest is the therapist, the guide opens the door”.
This is the first of monthly forest therapy walks in Brigit's Garden!
Forest Therapy, also known as "Shinrin-Yoku," refers to the practice of spending time in forested areas for the purpose of enhancing health, wellness, and happiness.
During this morning walk, participants will be guided through grounding, relaxing and centering exercises in deep relationship with the natural surrounding environment.
We will walk through the Old Woodlands in Brigit's Garden, spending time to connect with our surroundings and ourselves.
This guided walk aims to enhance wellbeing through sensory connection in nature. You will be guided through grounding, relaxing & centering exercises in deep relationship with the natural environment.
The walk will be guided by Kerry Walker, a certified Forest Therapy Guide from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy :
This is a free event for National Heritage week, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.
