Your wedding at Brigit’s Garden
Brigit's Garden is a unique and special venue for weddings. Every wedding at Brigit's Garden is different, and we look forward to working with you to create a very special occasion that is tailored to suit your preferences and requirements.
Indoor and outdoor venues for the wedding ceremony
There are several wonderful spots in the four Celtic gardens that are ideal for a special ceremony or a blessing, particularly the Bealtaine and Lughnasa gardens.
We have two attractive indoor rooms, both of which are approved venues for civil marriages:
The Roundhouse is a unique circular, thatched building in the centre of the Gardens. It accommodates up to 35 people seated or 50 for a drinks reception.
The Hazel Room is an attractive function room in the Visitor Centre that can seat up to 90 people theatre-style, or up to 100 for a drinks reception.
Our new Marquee is also ideal for a ceremony or reception.
Reception, dinners and parties
We can offer you a champagne or wine reception, with or without canapés, inside or in the Gardens. The Lughnasa garden stone circles are a unique outdoor location, and the Roundhouse, Hazel Room and Marquee are ideal for indoor receptions. We can provide a range of drinks from sparkling wines and champagnes to fruit juice cocktails, and a delicious selection of freshly made canapés.
Wedding dinners can be served in the Hazel Room, which accommodates up to 65 for dining. A further 40 can be accommodated if the Café dining area is included.
Our food is all freshly made on the premises and is recommended in the Georgina Campbell and Bridgestone Guides. Sample menus are available on request.
The Hazel Room, Café dining area, patio and Marquee make a fabulous suite of rooms for evening parties, with room for music and dancing.

Our wedding at Brigit’s Garden was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. It is such a beautiful venue with a wonderfully strong connection to nature. The ceremony took place in the Bealtaine Garden in July and the gardens were teeming with gorgeous flowers.
On the day everything went perfectly, thanks to Caroline and her team of wonderful staff. Caroline’s attention to detail is superb. All throughout the planning process, she was very accommodating and made us feel totally at ease.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the wide variety of choices on the menus would definitely suit any budget.
We would heartily recommend Brigit’s Garden to anyone planning their wedding, or indeed any event.

We cannot begin to know how to send our thank yous to you and to the staff in Brigit's Gardens. From the moment we walked in a year ago we knew it would be perfect for our ideas and we didn't look at another venue! You made us feel at ease immediately and totally got our ideas and our vibe for something a bit different to the norm.
In the build up to the day and on the day of the wedding you were all amazing and put any queries or nerves we had completely to rest. Our families couldn't have been more complimentary to you all and how you made them feel part of everything. It goes without saying that the setting is incredible but the small touches made a huge difference too and we really felt you guys wanted the place to look amazing just as much as we did- this lead to an incredible setting which was just magical.
The food was fantastic and everyone has commented on the quality of the produce used. All our guests, many for whom this was their first humanist ceremony, can't stop raving about the whole day and they all cannot believe they have never been to the gardens before.

Getting married in Brigit’s Garden was truly a beautiful, relaxed and incredibly special time.
The lead up to the day was made easy thanks to Caroline, – nothing was too much trouble and we were made feel like our day was special for them too. We opted for the buffet and the food was magnificent. All our guests had a fabulous time, the day was paced nicely with champagne/elderflower reception and canapes after the ceremony and plenty of space for walks around the beautiful gardens. After 5pm when the gardens are closed to the public it feels very special to have such a beautiful venue just for your own private party. As it darkened we had candles and fairy lights and dancing in the marquee. It was perfect for the children who were at the wedding with a playground, space to run around and Caroline also organised activities in the gardens for the children after they had eaten. They are still talking about how they made houses for foxes and magic potions! The whole day was a smile from start to finish.
We would both highly recommend Brigit’s Garden as a wedding venue – it’s a perfect place to come back for an anniversary too!
