The Gardens  blend  ancient wisdom with contemporary design to create a place of tranquillity.

Jul 25, 2019

Brigit’s Garden Café has been shortlisted for the Café of the Year award.

The Brigit’s Garden Café has been shortlisted for the Café of the Year award in the 2019 FOOD&WINE Awards in association with Rémy Martin.

Each year, the FOOD&WINE Awards shine a light on those in the hospitality industry - from chefs to sommeliers, cafés to hotels - that offer an exceptional experience, as well as awarding excellence in culinary achievement and service.

“It’s a great honour to be shortlisted for Café of the Year”, says Head Chef at Brigit’s Garden Café, Sarah O’Loughlin.” We cook everything from scratch and to be recognised for all our hard work and honest cooking means a lot to myself and the team here.

It has always been the aim of Brigit’s Garden to connect people with nature and this ethos is reflected in the Garden Café. We love to use herbs and flowers from our own garden and produce from local food businesses. The results speak for themselves and we are so grateful to our customers for nominating us.”

There are 10 cafés across Ireland shortlisted for the prestigious Café of the Year award. The awards ceremony will take place in The Shelbourne on St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2 on Sunday 25th August 2019. The Café at Brigit’s Garden is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.

The pilgrims absolutely loved being at the garden and got a great deal from the workshop. It provided a good foundation for the rest of the trip and was one of the highlights of the pilgrimage. Thank you so much. JC tours

There is no better or more powerful place to step into the pilgrimage energy, to sink into the rhythms and cycles of the Earth as we begin to explore the rhythms and cycles of our own lives. The setting, the gracious and welcoming people, the Roundhouse and the fabulous food are a delightful dance of the senses for all who visit. Judith Nilan, Stonefire Tours
