The gardens and natural spaces are beautiful and peaceful. Lunch at the cafe was delicious, with several well-designed vegetarian dishes. All of the staff members were warm and kind, and even greeted our dogs with biscuits. This is certainly a place we’ll return to, and bring along friends and visitors.

I had been meaning to visit for a long time and the experience exceeded all my expectations. The gardens are truly beautiful, linking our Celtic past and looking after the wildlife now and into the future. The 4 ‘seasonal’ gardens are stunning and really told the story of nature throughout the year. The rest of the site has lots of interesting attractions and plenty of space to wander. Our visit was much longer than expected. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch (and something sweet) from the cafe and spent time in the gift shop. Every staff member we met were welcoming and friendly and added to a great day out. I will definitely be back as I have a few more wishes to hang on the tree!

Beautiful place….food is excellent…staff amazing…well priced…Excellent garden..definitely worth to visit…Love it!

We arrived by bike, the car park was full but the entrance and Cafe were pleasantly quiet and we were straight away looked after by two lovely girls at the Café. My raspberry muffin was delicious, my daughter’s brownie repaid her of the cycling effort, and the coffees were just right and beautifully presented. We sat in the outdoor area that was buzzing with young families and the Gardens looked glorious in the sunshine. My teenage daughter is eager to go back and visit the gardens… imagine a teenager wanting to visit a garden? They definitely do things well in this place!

Wonderful Celtic garden with gardens for every season. Fantastic place for children. Wonderful restaurant, fantastic home grown food. Just 40 minutes from Galway City.
