Active Retired

A warm engaging experience for the Active Retired

There is so much to enjoy and savour at Brigit’s Garden for the active retired, with an accessible site that is a pleasure to walk around. Come and experience our tailored tours, activities for seniors and spend a delightful day in our award-winning gardens.

We have four gardens representing the Celtic festivals with special dedication to Brigit, Irish goddess and saint. We are conveniently located just 25 minutes from Galway city at the gateway to Connemara, and we would love to welcome your active retired group!

A Celtic Gardens Group Tour

An interactive, engaging tour of our beautiful gardens offering insight into the heart of Celtic heritage. A one hour tour is €8 per person, including a Brigit’s Cross-making demonstration for the group.

Garden Café

We are very proud of our Garden Café which is Georgina Campbell and Bridgestone recommended. If you fancy hearty soups and sandwiches, fresh scones, and mouth-watering cakes made in-house, our team would be delighted to serve you.

Our chefs use fresh ingredients, local where possible, and always of the highest quality. What could be nicer than a delicious lunch in our bright and light-filled café which overlooks the Garden?

If this sounds good, we would love to hear from you. Phone us on 091 550905 or send us a message through the contact form below.
