Brigit’s Garden is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity in Ireland, CHY 20053758. The project was set up by Jenny Beale out of her passion for nature and education. Brigit’s Garden is run by the Board of Trustees, in cooperation with the Operations Director and staff team.

28,450 visitors to the Celtic gardens, special events, school workshops,the Café & more
4,200 people enjoyed our events, from Brigit’s Eve and Elves and Fairies Day to our non-commercial Santa
2,800 school students aged 4-17 engaged in programmes on nature, energy and sustainability
1,875 school students reached through SEAI Energy workshops in the classroom
1,350 hours of gardening time from garden volunteers & students – thank you!
420 members and Friends in the Brigit’s Garden ‘family’
42 meditation sessions in the Roundhouse on Sunday mornings
18 people employed full and part-time and through employment schemes
10 Cafés shortlisted for the Irish Food and Wine awards 2019 including the Garden Café!
5 grants received, thanks to Science Foundation Ireland, Worldwise Global Schools, Galway Science Festival and Galway County Council (2).
