Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Monday 26th October 12-4pm
Celebrate Samhain – Halloween in Galway! The veil between worlds will be thin, and the fairies are out and about… so best to throw on a costume and keep them guessing!
Come along in your best disguise and enjoy a spooktacular day filled with the Gruesome Ghosts’ Treasure Hunt, Spine-Tingling Storytelling with Rab Fulton, and Spells & Smells with the Wacky Witch!
Arrive any time between 12 and 2pm and enjoy the Treasure Hunt and other activities at your own pace.
The Creepy Details…
Gruesome Ghosts’ Treasure Hunt
Creepy crawlies, mischievous goblins and mysterious ghosts have taken over the Garden! Follow the trail of eerie clues, brave the mummy in the chamber and peek into the coffin in the crannóg . Gather the magic letters, complete the spell, and banish the ghosts! Every child who dares to complete the quest will receive a small prize.
Spine-Tingling Storytelling
Shiver (but not too much!) as master storyteller Rab Fulton weaves his wonderfully eerie Celtic tales. Story sessions run at 1.15pm, 2.00pm, and 2.45pm – you’ll be given a ticket for your time slot when you arrive.
Spells & Smells with the Wacky Witch
Step inside the thatched Roundhouse where the Wacky Witch is stirring her bubbling cauldron. Mix strange ingredients, cast silly spells, and help her whip up potions powerful enough to chase away the Garden ghouls!
And even more tricks & treats…
Don’t miss the Halloween Marquee, where you’ll find frightfully fun face-painting, spooky crafts, and games to keep your little monsters entertained.
The café will be open all three days serving up lots of seasonal treats!
Join us for a day of gentle spooks, giggles, and magical mischief – perfect for families looking to celebrate Samhain together.
