Samhain by Zoom

Join us for Samhain by Zoom event to to connect with our friends nearby and also with those further away across the globe on Monday October 31st at 7.30 – 9pm.

Samhain Halloween is one of the great turning points of the Celtic year, marking the end of the harvest season and the shift into the darker months. It is a liminal time when the veil between this world and the otherworld is said to be thin, and a time for deep connection with the land and the ancestors.

This year we are offering two events (in-person and by Zoom) to connect with our friends nearby and also with those further away across the globe. You are warmly invited to join us for these special gatherings to mark the festival of Samhain.

We will share stories and songs of Samhain and relax with a meditation; we will reflect on what we need to let go of and what we wish to call in over the winter season; and we will honour our ancestors and those that have passed.

This Zoom evening will be as interactive as possible, and there will be an opportunity to meet other participants in breakout rooms. Please have candle and a pencil and paper to hand. This event is brought to you by Jenny Beale and Ann Marie Horan.

All are most welcome! (Please note this is not really suitable for children except for interested teens).

Cost
